Richard Paldi is an undergraduate Law with Business student at Queen Mary University of London. He has a keen interest in M&A and antitrust and is always looking to expand his knowledge about commercial law. Richard graduated in 2024 from the International Baccalaureate diploma program from BME International Secondary School in Budapest. He has had training in various legal sectors, such as M&A training from Baker & McKenzie Budapest, and has attended many workshops from top firms such as Linklaters, Herbert Smith Freehills, and Hogan Lovells.

Richard completed Baker & McKenzie’s Insight Week, focusing on M&A training, and gained foundational knowledge in tort and contract law through Cambridge University’s Introduction to Law course. He refined his skills in dispute resolution and M&A through workshops with Herbert Smith Freehills and Davis Polk and attended Baker & McKenzie’s Capital Markets Masterclass on structured capital markets. Richard deepened his understanding of AI in law at Fieldfisher’s Legal Technology Workshop and gained insights into international arbitration at Hogan Lovells. He also developed leadership skills through Model United Nations and enhanced commercial awareness through events hosted by firms like Eversheds Sutherland and Slaughter and May.
