Capital Markets

Overview

The Capital Markets division at Golden Eagle Society offers unparalleled exposure to the dynamic world of equity and debt capital markets. Focusing on the processes behind IPOs, secondary offerings, bond issuances, and private placements, this division equips members with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate and excel in the capital markets. By exploring real world market scenarios and trends, members gain practical experience in capital raising, market analysis, and investor relations, preparing them to handle complex financial instruments with confidence and precision.

What we do

The Capital Markets division is structured into two key areas:Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and Debt Capital Markets (DCM). Members gain a hands on learning experience in both, developing a deep understanding of how companies and institutions raise capital through equity and debt instruments. Through our intensive training bootcamp, members learn about key market interactions, pricing strategies, investor relations, and the structuring of financial instruments. By analysing macroeconomic factors, monetary policies, and corporate financial health, members refine their ability to assess market conditions and execute capital raising strategies effectively.

Our Flagship Case Studies

At the heart of the Capital Markets division’s experience are our flagship case studies, where members tackle real world challenges in capital raising and financial strategy. From simulating IPO processes and secondary offerings to structuring bond deals, our case studies allow members to apply their knowledge to live scenarios, providing them with the opportunity to develop comprehensive solutions and present their findings. These case studies not only enhance members’ technical skills but also nurture critical thinking, teamwork, and presentation skills, all essential for future careers in capital markets.
